This morning I was saying how I was going to try out for Davis Youth right? So Dad and I went after school and I tried out. I did fine on the pieces and scale that I had prepared and the lady auditioning me was sooooo nice. Then she pulled out the sight-reading. one was a little hard it was in 4 flats and then it switched half-way through to all naturals. the second was in tenor clef. that was a lot harder. I did okay though. Then I was done. I was so thankful to my teacher, Blake, because if he had taught me strictly by the book I would not be here to tell this tale because I would be dead my trying to decipher tenor clef. But by thoughtfulness, Blake realized I might be needing tenor clef in the near future and taught it to me. I knew it for my audition and didn't totally die!! Thank You Blake!!!!
Now another deep breath because I don't know when we find out if we made it or not!
