Busy Day . . . Everyday

Today we took the first Algebra 2 Honors test. I don't think I did very well. Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see. In Biology we "made" ponds, it was really weird. For Biology we are doing an "Ecology Field Research" project. I'm doing on a creek near my home. Today as I was doing my 10 minutes of observation (which by the way turned into an Hour and ten minutes) I was walking up and down in the water (I know, I know, It was freezing and I'm crazy) I knew there were ducks somewhere along the creek because I'd seen them before. so I walked down the creek and found them. I just observed them for about 20 minutes. One poor duck has a lame leg. It was a little funny but sad to watch this lame duck try to keep up with its fellows. anyway I was splashing (very loudly) back up the creek and got into a conversation with the older gentleman who lives next door to the house where my family is growing a garden. He told me many interesting things. like that frogs are some of the most sensitive animals ever. he taught me about smog, Venus, mars, and raccoons . . . among other things. It was so interesting. I think I spent a half an hour just listening to him! anyway, since we didn't have homework in Algebra 2 I was planning to get some other things done, but that didn't happen because of that event. I also had to finish making a necklace that I had been making. I really wanted to wear it tomorrow for the Rah-Rah recruit ( it's an eighth note) anyway I finished it so I have accomplished a lot today!!:)
