The first book they decide to read is Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. This is one of my favorites as well. I read it for the first time in 6th grade, or was it 5th? Anyway every 4th term I read it again. I've read it 3 or 4 times now and it is still a favorite.
Both these books are fabulous reads and I loved them. The next step? Much Ado about Anne the next book in the series.

Hurrah to you. You're being educated by something many teens wouldn't dare touch (like me, in all honesty) and you enjoy it. It's not that I don't like those books, it's just that I don' think I could survive reading it. I died reading My Side of the Mountain, so I can imagine what I'd do if I had to read Little Woman. But in all honest, hurrah to you.
